Think: "You think you can, You think you can, You think you can" & one day say: "You thought you could, You said you could, You knew you could" & thus, at least: you thought you did.

So much has occurred since my last post, I can’t wait to write all about it! As previously mentioned, I just need time, direction, energy, and motivation; seems so simple, doesn’t it? Anyway, I (me, this bipolar mommy), actually built up the nerve to take the four kids (ages 2, 2, 7, and 8) plus Amor, Grandma, sister Sarah and my also two-year-old nephew, Asher on a BIG family vacation, and it was quite an adventure, to say the least! There will be more on that to come.

In my last blog post, I implored my readers for feedback and promised a meet-and-greet for my next post, this post.  Specifically, I asked for more advice for novice (or even established) bloggers.  I got one resounding response, which was also my number one piece of advice:  Be Yourself!  I’d like to thank the following bloggers for taking the time to read and comment:

The above blogs are Super Awesome so I encourage you to check them out!

Now, here’s an award for YOU, dear readers of Super Mom Mentality aka,, for those of you who like awards.  You deserve this one.  This “Super Blogger Reader Award” has but one requirement, that is that you continue to do what you already do: read and write!  You are Super!  So here’s to you to copy and paste if you so desire:

SuperBlogger Reader Award

Triple Talk Quote: “Me and Brooksie and Asher are twins!”  – Bella (especially funny because she rarely calls Brooks her twin.  She calls him her “friend” or “brother,” for example, she’ll say,  “Me and my friend, Brooks went to the Science Center.” or “I shared my crackers with brother.”)

Bible Verse: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”  Matthew 6:33

Term that has Lost its meaning: on time

Relatable Lyrics: “Time” by Hootie and the Blowfish

“Time, the past has come and gone
The future’s far away
Now only lasts for one second, one second…

…I don’t know where I’m goin’
I think I’m out of my mind
Thinking about time.”

  1. Well, I just loved this blog post, and not only because you mentioned little, ‘ol me! 😉

I’m sorry I spaced on giving advice in the last post. If you don’t mind, I’m going to do it now – why not?

Apart from being oneself, which is crucial, I think it’s so good to have that give & take with your followers and respond to their comments, even if you must be brief. Sometimes we bloggers lapse in replying to comments (ahem!) when facing a lot of stress (you predicted that with me!!!,) but there’s always the future to get back into the swing of things.

I’m SUPER-proud of you for going on that trip!!!! I’m glad you’ll write about it when you can.

    Hurrah Michelle!

Because of that big trip triumph,I give you the…

for being so courageous to do that!

Thank you so much for my precious Super Blogger Reader Award!

    Sending you lots of love,

    Dyane “Cursive Lover” Harwood :))))

    • I definitely agree with you about responding to comments. You are so incredibly good at that! And I have always been impressed on how you reply and respond to so many other bloggers’ posts (especially mine)! It is so helpful to build up friendships in the Blogosphere! I don’t know how you manage to be so successful here AND on FB and Twitter!!! I have a hard time keeping up!

Thanks for the “Intrepid Award.” I humbly, but deservingly (as I’m sure you’ll discover in the future) accept. Now I’m going to have to go back into my little “Paint” program and design a logo just for it…jk!!!

      Love and Prayers!!!

  2. So cute! I noticed that Bella was calling Brooksie “friend” several months ago – she would watch a video of him and say, “My friend, Brooksie”.

    • Shoutouts for you anytime!!! Oh the vacation, it was a Dizzy one, that’s for sure. I’m still journaling about all the crazy stuff that happened, from our departure on day 1, when my dear hubby nearly drove me to drinking (after more than 5 years sober), to our return on day 7, when we had the explosive diaper incident. So you can imagine all the in-between stuff, LOL!
